information about Tawang in any
search engine as a tourist you will not have any problem. Even the sightseeing
details and other details related to the place in getting are very simple. But
hardly the hotels of any unconventional places like Tawang we get
in detail. So I thought it necessary for me to educate my tourist guest to know
about those hotels, so it can help them more to decide their stay according to
the budget permits before visiting the place.
Tawang

10000 feet above Mean Sea Level, Twang’s beauty will reach to your soul through

Tawang is

In
order to reach Tawang either
you have to come Guwahati or Tezpur which is the Getaway to Tawang. It is
mandatory to have a night stay in Bhalukpong and / or Bomdila or Dirang because

per my classification we can divide the hotels in 3 categories i.e. Deluxe,
Standard and Budget.
Basically
there are 5 Hotels / Resorts which can be said as a Deluxe property in Tawang.
ZAX STAR: This
is one of the best properties in the location. There are total 18 rooms of 4
different categories. Rooms are well maintained and service of the hotel is
good. The only unavoidable issue which the guest must understand that during
load shedding generator cannot be operated all time. In Tawang there is
electricity problem. So you cannot expect the generator can be able to replace
the service all the time. But since the weather throughout the year is so
pleasant that hardly Air-Conditions or Fans are required. Both vegetarian and
non vegetarian food is available in the hotel.
GAYKI KHANG ZHANG: I
will rate this hotel as the second best property in the town. The location of
the hotel is fantastic and breathtaking. Rooms are also good and staffs are
very friendly. But the management must educate the staff to give prompt service
to the guest always. There are total 26 rooms in the hotel with different
categories. Room heater is available at no extra cost provided if electricity
is available. Both vegetarian and non vegetarian food is available in the
hotel.
HOTEL MON PARADISE: Just a
newly opened hotel and surely considered as a Deluxe hotel of Tawang. Total 18
numbers of rooms with all basic amenities. Location wise also the hotel is
placed in a good area in the main market with scenic view from the window of
the room. One can blindly take a bet in this hotel during Tawang stay.
HOTEL UGYENLING: This
property is most probably managed by Nature Beyond. Though it shows in Google
and other search engine as a budget hotel but I will definitely rate this hotel
in a Deluxe Category. The location of the hotel is unquestionable very good,
rooms are spacious, neat & clean and the hotel staffs are very friendly.
There are 17 rooms of different category in the hotel and you will get both
vegetarian and non-vegetarian food in the hotel restaurant.
DOLMA COTTAGES: This
resort is from Dolma Group of Hotels. Though trip to Aruanchal cannot be themed
as Honeymoon but if a honeymooner visiting Tawang then Dolma Cottages is a good
choice. There are 6 separate cottages in about 1.5 acre of land. All the basic
amenities are available in the Resort.
If
you are looking for a budget hotel with the members of your family in the tour
then my recommended standard hotels of Tawang is the minimum quality of stay below
which it is advised not to go with your family. I will give you the names of
the hotels below with number of rooms available. In all the hotels you will get
vegetarian and non-vegetarian food, hot water and separate bathroom.
4. HOTEL TAWANG VIEW: Total numbers of rooms are 18
with different category.
If
you are travelling with friends (male) or you are a backpacker and your budget
is very restricted then the below given hotels can be considered as a budget
properties in Tawang.

DRAGON RESTUARANT: In Tawang this is one of the best
restaurants in Old Market Tawang where you can get local cuisine, vegetarian
and non-vegetarian. The cost of the food is high as well as after your order
you have to wait for a while in order to get hot and delicious food.
Last
but not the least, as a travel expert and consultant I would like to advice all
the hoteliers of Tawang to introduce at least one bottle of complimentary water
during check in to all the guests. The area lacks the hospitality of giving a
glass of water to the guests who come from a long journey of more than 6-7
hours. Better they must introduce welcome drink at no extra cost. This will
give a very good impression to the guests.
